NEL Commissioning Support Unit is looking to recruit a motivated individual to join its Cyber Security Design Team based in Sussex. This is a full time vacancy based at NEL CSU, The Causeway, Worthing, BN12 6BT. The position is a fixed term contract for 12 months with the possibility of extension. Travel across the NEL CSU supported area will be required, with occasional travel further afield.
You will be working as part of the Cyber Security Team within the ICT Services Consulting, Design and Development Team, to provide Cyber Security assurance, reporting and high level technical support to operational teams.
We are looking for candidates who have skills and experience in:-
• Industry best practice in security methodology and controls.
• An understanding of Risk evaluation and management
• An understanding of reporting tools, assurance and ICT governance.
• An understanding of networking, identity management and threat management in a geographically disperse environment.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. You will be required to effectively communicate technically complex security concepts to all levels of Staff and customers. You will be required to have a flexible approach and be able to use your own initiative often working to deadlines.
