We are currently recruiting for a Pharmacist to join our South West London Interface and Secondary care Prescribing Team (ISPS).  This role will help lead all aspects of pharmaceutical commissioning and drugs used at the interface on behalf of the 6 CCGs in SWL.

If you are an organised self-motivated Pharmacist with excellent clinical and critical appraisal skills and verbal / written communication skills, have attention for detail and would enjoy working within a dynamic and successful team, then we want to hear from you. The ISPS team have a particular track record of delivering medicines optimisation initiatives for PbR excluded drugs through local pathway development, ensuring implementation through Blueteq and building working relationships with Trusts and clinical networks.

As commissioning Pharmacist you will be expected to work across NEL CSU and SWL CCGs to help co-ordinate the CCG agreed work-streams and priority areas and facilitate collaborative working in nominated areas across the interface and in secondary care.  The postholder will be responsible for updating nominated contract documents, summarising the evidence base to inform locally commissioned drug pathways and provide clinical leadership for the development and approval of Blueteq tick-box forms used for PbR excluded drugs.

The CSU will be an evolving environment and it is expected that the post holder will be responsive and work flexibly and collaboratively in cross functional teams and manage multiple interfaces.

We are happy to consider flexible working arrangements.

For further details on this role, please refer to the attached job description. Please ensure that you pay careful attention to the essentials and desirables of the person specification when completing your supporting statement.
