North East London (NEL) POD is a single amalgamation of what used to be the BHR and WELC PODs. The POD has been designed to support the evolving needs of the East London Health Care Partnership (ELHCP) operating model to ensure we are aligning our services to meet the needs of our customers. We are excited about our future as a team and enthusiastic about discovering new and innovative ways of working together. We strive to deliver exceptional services in aiding positive health outcomes for patients within the North East London region, through our continuing support to the 7 CCG’s across the North East London Commissioning Alliance.

We are looking for 2 Contract and Provider Performance Officers to join our team for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. 

As the Contract and Provider Performance Officer you will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service, supporting contract managers within the team. The post requires someone who can work to a high standard in organising and preparing a range of meetings including documentation and minute taking with a range of providers including Technical Sub Groups, Contract Review Groups, Clinical Quality Review Meetings, and various Service Development Groups. Other duties include multiple diary management, room bookings, supporting project groups and assistance with providing a range of contract supporting functions. The post holder will also be required to support the Contract Management team to administer the contracts on behalf of ELHCP CCGs. This post requires excellent organisational skills and proven ability to work with conflicting and competing deadlines.

Key tasks of the post:The post holder will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Support the Contracts and Performance Management team in monitoring the providers and other service agreements by maintaining systems and processes which enable monitoring of performance and assessment of risk.
  • Support the team in maintaining robust contract and performance management with collation of reports, analysis and presentation of data and any associated commentary.
  • As required supporting the arrangements and correspondence for meetings.
  • Coordinate information requests.  
  • Support structures and processes to enable whole system working.
  • Prepare and collate all necessary information for performance review meetings or negotiations.
  • Work with Community & Mental Health MDT team to provide accurate baseline and performance data, often requiring complex and detailed information analysis.
