Be part of the transformation of health and care in Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest. The CCGs in Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest have come together under one governing body and senior team referred to as WEL CCGs. We are an exciting new organisation putting the needs of communities at the heart of our commissioning arrangements.

We are working with local people and partners across health, social care and the voluntary sector in innovative ways to improve health and wellbeing for all our communities.  Our key priority in the next year will be to develop closer integrated and collaborative ways of working with all our partners to implement our Out of Hospital Strategy.

We can only do this with great staff who are encouraged and supported, which is why we invest in them, listen to them, make sure we are representative of our populations and that we foster their health and wellbeing. If you’re passionate about making a difference and want to work for an organisation where your experience and contributions are valued then join us at WEL

Please note that all vacancies will be subject to a 6 month’s probation period in line with the CCG Probation Policy.

We have a strong commitment to organisational development and to fully developing our staff.

This post will lead the OD function in Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest. They will ensure that we have a learning and development plan in place for all our staff, implement the Management Team development plan and the WEL CCGs Board development plan.

The post-holder will also develop and implement our values and behaviours with staff and ensure that they are implemented and seen to be delivered.

The post-holder will also be expected to undertake partnership working with all our key providers in WEL CCGs and deliver a more joined up to approach to organisational development engagement across WEL as we develop our WEL System way of working and our borough partnerships.

The post holder will need to develop relationships with all local stakeholders and partners and identify opportunities to work together in partnership.

We are looking for an experienced OD professional to develop and manage the CCGs function and can demonstrate a values driven approach supported by a record of delivery.

This is offered as a Fixed Term or Secondment opportunity for 9 months
