NEL CSU has an opportunity for a Network Operations Lead primarily to support the NEL Data Centre infrastructures and customers estates. The post holder will be expected to be flexible in the future and support other groups of customers as and when necessary. The post holder may be required to be part of a technical on call rota for extended and out of hours support.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate significant experience managing, supporting and developing the network infrastructure as well as managing a team of engineers.

This is a leading role is within the Network Operations team. This team concentrates on the provision of a technical service for the support of the network infrastructure across the CSU and its customers managed estates. The Network Operations team is responsible for ensuring that network associated technical issues are resolved (either remotely or on site) within agreed timescales and SLAs
