NEL is an ambitious and innovative organisation that provides expert support and advice to NHS and other organisations to assist the delivery of improved health services. We deliver an extensive range of services including contracting, analytics, clinical services and ICT to name a few.

Our clients are based across London, Essex, Kent, Surrey, East Anglia and other parts of England.

Due the promotion of the current post-holder we have a vacancy for an experienced and talented analyst to provide support to the senior multidisciplinary team within NEL providing support to Islington Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) specifically and to North Central London CCGs more generally.

This role focuses on performance management issues but is closely integrated with the wider support role NEL provides to CCGs incorporating contract management, quality of services and business intelligence services.

We are looking for someone with proven skills and experience in analysing data from a variety of sources and presenting the results of that analysis in ways best suited to the needs of the intended audience.

Key requirements are complex data analysis skills – including advanced knowledge and understanding of the capabilities and limitations of Excel and specialist knowledge of performance and policies relating to the performance management of health services.

Demonstrable knowledge of SQL and NHS data sets would be an advantage in this role.

We can offer the successful applicant opportunities for the development of technical skills and presentation and influencing skills.

The post will be based largely in NEL offices near Liverpool Street and Islington CCG offices near Highbury and Islington Station in London.

For further details on this role, please refer to the job description. Please pay careful attention to the essentials and desirables of the person specification when completing your supporting statement.
