An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the NEL CSU Corporate and Commercial Finance Team as a Management Accountant Advisor.

The post holder will report to the Corporate Finance Manager and have responsibility for various financial transactions supporting the CSU business Directorates. 

This will include the analytical review of data across Income, Pay, Non Pay and Staff Records which will lead to the generation of ledger journals and reports. 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience in an NHS Finance team underpinned by data analysis and generating ledger transactions and journals. 

In addition, you will work in a matrix style structure across the corporate finance team, meaning the focus of work may be varied as the business requires.  A flexible approach to work will be essential to meet these objectives. 

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who has the financial experience previously outlined, good communication skills and a positive attitude. You will be self-motivated and pro-active, with strong time management and excellent ICT skills, particularly in Excel and Oracle.

You will be required to work to tight deadlines, at times under pressure and possess a real drive to succeed as well as strong inter-personal skills. In return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and career in a supportive, interesting environment.
