Are you an experienced, talented and innovative HR professional ready to take on the challenge of the Deputy Director of HR, working as part of a successful and growing HR team?

NEL is seeking to appoint a Deputy Director of HR who has the skills and expertise to lead the delivery of highly effective business partnering and operational services with strong customer focus, promoting the highest quality of business support services.  The role will focus on service provision to NEL’s key customer base of Clinical Commissioning Groups across London, the South East and Northamptonshire.

You will be part of the senior HR team, working closely with senior management to provide business-focussed HR solutions to support the provision of high quality, productive and innovative services to our internal and external customers.  You will also be required to take the strategic lead on the development of key HR functions, systems and policies enabling achievement of NEL’s corporate aims and objectives.

You will be MCIPD qualified, have significant experience of generalist HR working at a senior level as well as having experience of operating a business partnering approach in complex, customer-focussed organisations.  You will deputise for the Director of Operational HR/Executive Director of People across the full range of corporate and strategic activities.

The post will be based at Clifton House (London), however there will be a requirement to travel and work across all CCG customer locations.
