We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced data warehouse developer to join our development team. You will have professional experience working in a similar role or a degree in a relevant subject - NHS experience is desirable but not essential. You will have in-depth experience of using the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, an understanding of database design concepts/principles and advanced knowledge of SQL Server 2012+, Transact-SQL and SSIS.

Significant experience in the following areas is essential:

  • Database & ETL design
  • Development using the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack (SQL Server 2012+, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
  • Technical problem solving and issue resolution
  • Software development tools, Visual Studio and TFS

The post holder will work as a member of the Development Team responsible for the development and maintenance of the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence platform. The post holder will be responsible for data warehouse, ETL and report development in accordance with the service specification currently agreed with the CSU. The post holder will need to ensure prioritisation according to deadline and priorities and ensure communication of consistent messages across all users.

Interview day will consist of Interview questions plus a test.
