An opportunity has arisen to work within the established NEL Business Resilience team to deliver Business Resilience services for both the CSU and our customers.

We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join the Business Resilience team.

It is a priority for the Business Resilience Team to be able to provide our customers with a responsive and effective service and to do this we need highly professional and experienced staff. We are now seeking applications from suitably proficient candidates for the post of Business Resilience Officer within the Business Resilience Team

The main purpose of this post is to be an active member of the Business Resilience team to ensure NEL supports customers to meet their Emergency Planning, Response and Resilience (EPRR) responsibilities covering the fields of Business Continuity and Emergency Planning. The role works collaboratively across the team and is critical in achieving the delivery of EPRR requirements, planning for and responding to disruptions and disasters.

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Business Resilience, the post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of key projects to a range of customers. This will include delivery to external clients as well as supporting internal teams to develop their own business continuity arrangements.

The role will contribute to the development and delivery of policies and emergency and continuity plans and the development and delivery of associated training and testing, including exercises.

The post holder will need to be qualified in a relevant field and/ or have suitable experience in the delivery of emergency planning or business continuity programmes.
