NEL CSU invites applications from highly professional and motivated individuals to apply for the role of Business Manager to the Executive Director of Finance. This is an excellent opportunity to work as Business Manager, supporting the Central Finance team through the provision of confidential, professional project and business management support, facilitating effective and efficient internal operations and customer services.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual; the post holder will deliver a varied portfolio of work, operating flexibly, providing a senior management resource to the wider team addressing issues as they arise.

The post holder will need to be able to move comfortably between a number of highly-skilled, unrelated tasks, quickly picking up new things and creating or implementing items from scratch, without guidance or supervision. They will be required to swiftly develop a detailed understanding of the business, and to maintain a thorough understanding of the NHS, the political climate and working for a senior leader within a complex environment.

The post holder will have responsibility for the professional and efficient operations of the office in dealing with a complex array of internal and external, NHS and commercial stakeholders. The post holder will act on behalf of the Executive Director of Finance, providing a comprehensive and confidential support function in achieving aims and objectives.
