Haringey Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is passionate about serving its local people. We want to commission high quality, affordable local services to reduce some of the stark health inequalities in Haringey and improve outcomes for our population.

Our vision is to enable the people of Haringey to live long and healthy lives with access to safe, well co-ordinated and high quality services. We aim to achieve this by:

  • Commissioning high quality, valued and responsive services, working in partnership with the public to make the best use of available resources
  • Promoting wellbeing, reduce health inequalities and improve health outcomes for local people
  • Improving the health and quality of life for people by commissioning integrated health and social care delivered closer to home.

We need to achieve these aims against the backdrop of a very tough financial challenge. However, we will work with partners, including patients and the public, to ensure that we commission services in a way that is engaging, efficient, innovative, open, quality driven and inclusive.

Haringey CCG is a membership organisation made up of all the GP practices in Haringey and is led by a Governing Body, which includes local GPs.

About Haringey's Health

Haringey is an exceptionally diverse and fast-changing borough with a population estimated to be just over 267,000. Life expectancy is rising generally, in line with national trends, however health inequalities between men and women, and people living in the West and East of the borough remain stark.

People living with long term health conditions such as diabetes, respiratory disease and heart disease is also quite prevalent in Haringey.

You can find out more about Haringey’s population at www.haringey.gov.uk/jsna
