NEL CSU Procurement Team is seeking Procurement Managers to support the delivery and on-going development of its Procurement Services based in the South POD Kent.
There are exciting opportunities in this rapidly expanding team, with potential for individual development in delivering a high quality professional service, using best practice methods and leading-edge tools for e-enablement.
The Procurement Manager will work with the Procurement Team to support the provision of strategic and complex procurement support services to NEL CSU clients (principally NHS commissioning organisations comprising CCGs across Kent and the south, together with NHS England) on a revenue generating basis, as directed by the Head of Procurement for healthcare and other non-healthcare service requirements.
The post holder will support the day-to-day operation of the client’s tendering processes for clinical and non-clinical services including supporting the Head of Procurement to deliver a strategic procurement service, contributing to the delivery of allocated procurement projects, making sustainable cost improvements, and realising a range of benefits across the services commissioned by the client.
