North East London (NEL) POD is a single amalgamation of what used to be the BHR and WELC PODs. The POD has been designed to support the evolving needs of the ELHCP operating model to ensure we are aligning our services to meet the needs of our customers. We are excited about our future as a team and enthusiastic about discovering new and innovative ways of working together. We strive to deliver exceptional services in aiding positive health outcomes for patients within the North East London region, through our continuing support to the 7 CCG’s across the North East London Commissioning Alliance.

We are looking for two Contract and Provider Performance Assistants to join our team.

As the Contract and Provider Performance Assistant you will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service, supporting contract managers within the team. The post requires someone who can work to a high standard in organising and preparing a range of meetings including documentation and minute taking with a range of providers including Technical Sub Groups, Contract Review Groups, Clinical Quality Review, and various Service Development Groups. Other duties include multiple diary management, room bookings, and supporting project groups and will be required to assist in providing a range of contract supporting functions. Supporting the Contract Management team to administer the contracts on behalf of the ELHCP CCGs. This post requires excellent organisational skills, proven ability to work with conflicting and competing deadlines and priorities are also required.

Key tasks of the post:

The post holder will undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality project, service, initiative and administrative support including information and analysis where needed, to the Contract Management MDT
  • The post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge and technology to improve, inform and support a portfolio of projects, services, and initiatives.
  • The post holder will provide the team with high quality of business administrative support and Ad-hoc duties
  • The job description and person specification are an outline of the tasks, responsibilities and outcomes required of the role. The job holder will carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required by their line manager.
  • The job description and person specification may be reviewed on an ongoing basis in accordance with the changing needs of the CSU.
