An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and experienced professional to join the team at Barnet Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) as Director of QIPP, Planning and Performance.  

As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will provide leadership and oversight for QIPP, planning and performance functions including having responsibility for:

  • the CCG’s robust and in-depth understanding of historical, current and future activity to inform the CCG (and NCL) strategy, commissioning decisions, contracts, operational plan and financial projections
  • the delivery of constitutional and other operational targets for local patients in conjunction with other Directorates
  • overseeing and ensuring effective delivery of the major QIPP and the CCG’s strategic and operational programmes

As Director of QIPP, Planning, Performance, you will have the ability to quickly build strong relationships with providers, as well as having a proactive approach to understanding patient activity and developing a culture of performance management.

The post holder will be part of the Senior Management Team supporting the delivery of the organisational objectives and the Governing Body, demonstrating a commitment to improving health outcomes for Barnet residents.

This is an exciting time of change in North Central London (NCL); you will help inform the strategic thinking and direction of Barnet CCG, as well as the CCGs across NCL, local acute NHS Foundation Trust, Community Health Trust and other local partners.
