NHS Enfield are looking for an exceptional  candidate who is able to support the Mental Health Commissioning team, in providing  expert Clinical advice on Learning Disabilities to Children's and Young people’s Commissioning.

They will also be expected to participate with the Integrated Learning Disability and CHC  Nurse Assessors  in carrying out reviews on all Service Users with a Learning Disability currently funded by NHS Enfield . This includes : Service Users on the LD  transformation pathway , Section 117 Aftercare , and  those being considered for or currently funded by NHS Continuing Healthcare .   

The post holder  will also  be expected to represent NHS Enfield at key meetings .This includes : Learning Disabilities Complex Care Panel, Learning Disabilities Partnership Board, various key review meetings for CYP Services around Learning Disabilities Services users.

Where appropriate the post holder will be expected to support the Community Intervention Service and CYP Services in participating with Community Treatment Reviews.    

The post holder will be working alongside Mental Health Nurses and Continuing Care Nurse Assessors and be managed within a Commissioning Directorate.

This will broaden clinical and management experience across a number of Care areas and support the post holder in further developing their career within the Healthcare Service.     

NHS Enfield will consider offering the post as a 12 months secondment opportunity .
