Redbridge CCG is a membership organisation made up of GP practices across our borough. We commission safe, high quality health services – mainly hospital, community and mental health services.

We have a small borough based team and also share a single management team with CCGs in Barking and Dagenham and Havering.

Please note that all vacancies will be subject to a 6 month’s probation period in line with the CCG Probation Policy.

This is an exciting new opportunity for a highly motivated and committed individual who will be an integral member of the mental health commissioning team. The role involves leading the development and implementation of an enhanced mental health primary care programme across Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge (BHR) CCGs. This is a major transformation project within the mental health team’s portfolio, which is expected to improve quality of care with the BHR area.

The successful applicant will be expected to bring commissioning and programme management expertise to this area of work. They will bring excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills to the role. They will have an understanding of mental health commissioning within the context of the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health and the Long Term Plan.

We are looking for a person who is able to manage a varied portfolio, can nurture good partnership relations, have creative flair, that can underpin our vision and with a good grasp of transformation approaches. The post holder will need to have great interpersonal skills and the ability to command confidence with our partners.
