Redbridge CCG is a membership organisation made up of GP practices across our borough. We commission safe, high quality health services – mainly hospital, community and mental health services.

We have a small borough based team and also share a single management team with CCGs in Barking and Dagenham and Havering.

Please note that all vacancies will be subject to a 6 month’s probation period in line with the CCG Probation Policy.

An opportunity has arisen in Redbridge CCG for a highly motivated and organised individuals to undertake the role of Practice Improvement Lead. You will provide support to the primary care delivery managers, and to other members of the BHR primary care transformation and delivery team, for the strategic and operational development of primary care in Redbridge. This includes support for delivery of the standards for primary care set out in the Strategic Commissioning Framework, support for the priorities of the GPFV and the 10 High Impact Actions, and working with general practice to find solutions to current pressures of workload, improving quality, and workforce gaps.

You will provide a vital role in supporting GP networks. You will be aligned to a specific GP network and to a group of practices. You will be responsible for the development and delivery of key priority areas, supporting primary care in turning plans into action and embedding new, collaborative working practices.

You will have well developed interpersonal and influencing skills, the ability to understand issues at practice level and offer assistance, as well as high levels of energy, drive and resilience. Experience in maintaining effective relationships with primary care across both commissioning and provider functions and demonstrated experience of project management in health care and in complex and challenging environments are essential.
